Scientific Insights and Reflections in Multidisciplinary Approaches, Theory, and Application (SIRMATA) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. We follow the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adhere to international best practices in scholarly publishing.
Author Responsibilities
Originality and Plagiarism
- All submitted work must be original and not published elsewhere
- Proper attribution must be given to all sources
- Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are prohibited
- All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using iThenticate
Data and Methodology
- Research data must be accurate and verifiable
- Methodology must be described in sufficient detail for replication
- Raw data should be made available upon reasonable request
- Statistical analysis must be appropriate and correctly interpreted
Authorship
- All listed authors must have made substantial contributions
- All contributors who meet authorship criteria must be listed
- Authors must approve the final version before submission
- Corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal
Conflicts of Interest
- All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed
- Financial relationships with relevant organizations must be reported
- Personal relationships that could influence the work must be mentioned
- Funding sources and sponsor roles must be clearly stated
Editorial Responsibilities
Fair Review Process
- Manuscripts are evaluated solely on scientific merit
- Decisions are made without bias regarding author characteristics
- Peer review process is fair, timely, and constructive
- Editorial decisions are based on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment
Confidentiality
- Manuscript content is kept confidential during review
- Reviewer identities are protected in double-blind review
- Editorial communications are not disclosed
- Unpublished data from submitted manuscripts is not used
Conflicts of Interest
- Editors recuse themselves from manuscripts with potential conflicts
- Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests
- Advertisers have no influence on editorial content
- Editorial independence is maintained at all times
Reviewer Guidelines
Review Standards
- Reviews should be objective, constructive, and evidence-based
- Comments should help authors improve their work
- Personal criticism of authors is unacceptable
- Reviews should be completed within the agreed timeframe
Confidentiality and Disclosure
- Manuscript content must be kept confidential
- Reviewers should not use unpublished information for personal gain

Research Misconduct
Types of Misconduct
- Fabrication: Making up data or results
- Falsification: Manipulating research materials or processes
- Plagiarism: Appropriating ideas or words without attribution
- Duplicate Publication: Publishing the same work multiple times
Investigation Process
- Allegations are investigated promptly and fairly
- Authors have opportunity to respond to concerns
